October 5, 2011 was the day that the world lost a great businessman and a visionary. On this day Steve Jobs lost his fight with cancer. He may be gone, but his legacy continues and his story is not forgotten. He helped to build one of the biggest businesses in the world. He was the co-founder of Apple. His ideas and imagination helped to build this company. The book "Steve Jobs" by Walter Isaacson tells the whole life story of Steve Jobs from the eyes of the visionary himself. This book to me was really interesting in the way that it kept me interested on what happens in his life to make him the visionary he is. This book also consists of opinions from Steve's friends, family, and employees. The strong emotion that comes from the book is amazing. His story of both success and struggle really caught my attention. This is a truly interesting story.

This story helps one to visualize everything through it's intense detail of the situations through the eyes of the visionary himself, and through his past friends, partners, enemies, and family. This story tells his whole life story from beginning to end. His life story was both interesting and inspiring to me because of how he pushed himself to make everything he does perfect. He never settled for something that was good enough. He always worked to make everything perfect. He was often a hard person to deal with. When he wanted something done a certain way to the certain extent he wanted it at, it was often hard to gain his approval.

What I liked about the story is the extreme amount of emotion given off by Steve and the people he knew. Through opinions from employees, you feel the emotions they had towards Steve in good ways and bad. There was no holding back at all on the emotions and opinions expressed. This book gave a realistic aspect to the story with the inclusion of very fine details to situations and conflicts. The many events and rivalries were expressed so exquisitely with the emotion that everyone felt. These great details are what bring the book to its stronghold.

The size of the book was rather big, but was necessary to bring the details that people want within stories, and the detail that would build up to Steve's life legacy. The book explained as much of his life as was necessary. This story brings inspiring aspects to life. All the conflicts he faced leading up to his success in both Apple and Pixar really made me want to read more. A story isn't a story without conflict, and let me tell you there was a lot of conflict. The many events of struggle and success brought an interesting aspect to the story. Walter Isaacson brought the events into incredible detail with the opinions of different people on different situations. You can see different sides to the conflicts expressed in the story and I saw that as a great aspect of the book.

I would recommend this book to a person who loves great detail and enjoys a strong emotion filled story. This is a good read because it helps one to see Steve's life through his eyes and through other's eyes as well. This is a really inspiring story based on success and sometimes failure. Walter added so much detail that was of course needed to explain certain things. I really like this book because it shows how a great visionary like Steve Jobs became the great businessman and spokesman of the company he co-founded with Steve Woznaik. He helped to build Apple to the great business it is today. He was often not easy to get along with, but he helped to bring us into a new age of technology. He may be gone, but his legacy is still alive and this story helps to tell it to you.
